Functional Safety Services

Greater Plutonio Complex is a producing conventional oil field located in deepwater in Angola and is operated by Bp Angola (Block 18). The field is located in Block 18 Greater Plutonio Development Area, with water depth of 4,061 feet.

Services Provided:

Improving the conformance of Controls, Alarms and Safety Instrumented System Layers of Protection to BP Standards and IEC61511 requirements. Working with Area Engineering, Offshore and R&M on the following aspects:

• SIS Lifecycle activities including developing Safety Requirement Specifications (SRS), Safety Lifecycle Plans (SLP), Operations and Maintenance Procedures.

• SIL Calculations and Verifications

• Assisting with Layers of Protection Analysis (LOPA) studies.

• Safety Instrumented Function Design and Verification

• Providing I&PS and Control discipline technical support to the Angola Operations and Maintenance teams.

• Proven in Use certification.

• Developing SIF demand tracking and Failure Rate Procedures.
